Currently, I am at work and about to head back to Lafayette. After studying abroad last semester, (which was the best/worst thing I have ever done, in that I have never had that much fun and convince myself that I will never have that much fun again...morbid, I know), I made some great friends, who are actually coming in next weekend. So my excuse for going home this weekend, is I am helping to get the house ready for their arrival. All of which is true, but I am so lame sometimes, that I am known to just go home for no reason, bury my cellphone somewhere where it remains inaudible.
So as I finish up this disgustingly humid Friday in Louisiana I can only "Google" so many things to do while I am abroad come August. So far, I've looked up Ryan Air flights to cities all around Europe and have attempted to create a budget on 320 euros - wishful thinking - so why not create a blog for everyone too keep up with me?
It's also quite daunting that once I graduate I am no longer covered under my family's healthcare. As I have no job from May - August quite yet, I need to find someone to cover me and cover me while I am abroad in France, the latter proving to be quite tricky. However, my poor Facebook 6 degrees of separation acquaintance, Alex, has helped me tremendously on that front. Between tying up all of these lose ends upon graduation, while going through this excruciating visa process, and that little thing called school - I am fit to be tired or paper work and applying to things. I have to ask myself, "Am I done yet? Can I just get to Paris already?"
